Ascocentrum christensonianum is a small to medium-sized orchid from Vietnam, thriving in warm to hot conditions. It has an erect stem with strap-shaped, tridenticulate leaves that turn from fern-green in shade to deep red in bright light. This orchid blooms in both spring and fall, producing several flowers on a short spike. The flowers are a translucent pinkish-orange with a pin, and they appear between the leaves.
