Bougainvillea 'Chitra Golden' is a repeat-blooming variety that can produce several flushes of flowers throughout the growing season. Its slender, slightly curled bracts give the blooms a distinctive appearance, while the changing colors make each flowering cycle look different.
This variety is also easy to grow, with good tolerance for sun, drought, and different soil conditions. Its branches are relatively firm with moderate natural branching, and regular pruning can encourage a fuller shape and more flowering growth. It is less cold tolerant and should be protected from temperatures below approximately 41°F.
