Bougainvillea 'Coconut Ice' is an excellent free-flowering variety admired for its soft, ethereal appearance. Its bracts display a blend of white, green, and pink tones, with color intensity strongly influenced by temperature and light conditions. Generally, cooler temperatures produce deeper pink or rose tones, while warmer conditions result in lighter, whiter coloration—giving rise to the saying "icy in summer, fiery in winter."
This variety grows quickly and is nearly thornless. It is highly tolerant of heat and strong sunlight, and blooms repeatedly throughout multiple seasons. Well suited for home container growing, it is often affectionately referred to as a "little fairy" among bougainvillea enthusiasts.
