Flower Form: Formal / Imbricate
Flower Color: Single color Flower / Yellow
Camellia japonica 'Dahlohnega' is a rare yellow camellia prized for its soft pale yellow to canary-yellow blooms. The flowers are fully double, with over 80 petals arranged in a tight, tile-like formation. The center is slightly deeper in color, gradually fading outward, creating a layered and refined appearance.
Blooms are small to medium in size, measuring approximately 2.4–2.8 inches in diameter. Flowering occurs in the mid-season, typically from winter into early spring. When heavily budded, blooms may appear more compact and display a richer yellow tone.
The plant has a slow growth rate with an upright to slightly spreading habit and a compact structure. As a rare yellow camellia, it is especially valued by collectors.
