Overview:
Libellula is a compact cut-flower rose. Despite its modest plant size, it is extremely floriferous — a single plant can easily produce over a dozen blooms at one time.
The flowers are soft lavender purple, shifting toward a cooler blue tone in lower temperatures. Blooms measure around 2.8 inches and feature highly ruffled, wave-edged petals, often described as a “lace-edge” appearance. With more than 135 petals, the blooms are dense yet elegant.
Libellula carries a strong fragrance combining classic old rose notes with a pronounced lemon aroma. It tolerates sun well, holding its flower form even in warm weather (though color may fade slightly), and performs especially well in containers, making it ideal for pot culture.
