Oeceoclades roseo, variegata form (Oeceoclades roseovariegata) --Miniature Orchid
Miniature, Blooming size, Green Flowers, Species Orchid - Live Plant
Oeceoclades gracillima, also known as Oeceoclades roseovariegata, is a unique terrestrial orchid from Madagascar, commonly called the "monk orchid." This miniature species is prized for its striking variegated leaves that resemble pink and red snake skin. The leaves start green and mature to a coral pink, while the small, greenish-brown flowers with white and pink spots are less prominent.
It thrives in bright, indirect light and can be grown with similar care to Phalaenopsis or Cattleya orchids. Oeceoclades is drought-tolerant, so it’s best to let the potting media (fine bark, perlite, and charcoal) dry out between waterings. This low-maintenance orchid grows slowly and is perfect for window sills, orchid cabinets, or under lights.
