Paraphalaenopsis labukensis --Fragrant Orchid
Paphiopedilum Maudiae, Tri-color, Hybrid, Blooming size, Multiple Color Flowers - Live Plant
Paraphalaenopsis labukensis is a remarkable orchid native to Borneo, known for its pendulous growth habit and striking appearance. The plant features long, narrow, dark green terete leaves that can grow up to 6 feet in length when mature. Its short basal spikes can bear up to 15 beautiful crystalline flowers, each around 3 inches in size. The flowers display wavy purplish-red sepals and petals, speckled with yellow and edged in green, while the cream-colored lip has an orange base with purple spots. This species also has a delightful cinnamon fragrance.
We offer well-established seedlings, perfect for basket growing or mounting on cork slabs. They can also be potted, provided there is ample air circulation around the roots, and larger bark is recommended if grown in pots.
