Flower Form: Anemone / Single row of outer petals Flower Color: Bicolor Flower / Blotched red
'Yutianshi' is a distinctive Camellia japonica cultivar admired for its striking red-and-white coloration. The flowers are predominantly white, accented with abundant red speckles, blotches, or streaks, creating a lively and elegant contrast. Bloom form ranges from formal double to peony-like, with broad, rounded outer petals laid flat and tightly clustered inner petals forming a full, rounded center.
Blooms are small to medium in size, with occasional larger flowers, typically measuring 3.1 inches or more in diameter, and sometimes reaching 3.5–4.3 inches. Flowering occurs mainly from winter through late winter. As the blooms age, petals fall naturally.
The plant has a spreading to slightly arching growth habit with moderate to vigorous vigor and good disease resistance, making it well suited for garden planting or as a landscape specimen. Its balanced structure and strong performance add to its value as a reliable and ornamental camellia cultivar.
